Up to fifteen, and fewer when the deck does not contain enough distinct testable material to support that many. A five-slide overview will not be padded out to fifteen items — padding is how quizzes end up with questions that test nothing.

They are taken from adjacent concepts in your own deck, which is what makes a multiple-choice item discriminate. Obviously wrong options let a student eliminate their way to the answer without knowing it, so filler choices and 'all of the above' are avoided.

The output is an editable document with questions, options and an answer key, which you can paste into either. There is no direct Moodle XML or Forms export yet — if you need a SCORM package for your LMS, convert the deck itself with our PowerPoint to SCORM tool.

This produces multiple-choice items with four options. For recall-style question-and-answer pairs, use the flashcards style; for a condensed revision document with mixed practice questions, use the reviewer.

Questions and options are generated from the uploaded material, so they stay within what your deck covers. Review the key before using a quiz for assessment — as with any generated content, a slide that was ambiguous can produce an item that is ambiguous too.

.pptx and PDF, including PDFs exported from Google Slides or Keynote. Scanned PDFs are read with OCR first, though a text-based file gives noticeably better questions because the wording is exact.
