Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from your PNG to PPT tool?

PNG to PPT places each picture on its own slide and keeps it as a picture — right when the images are the content, like photos or a portfolio. This one reads the text out of the image and rebuilds it as editable placeholders. Pick this page when you want the words back, and that one when you want the pictures.

Will it get handwriting?

Clear handwriting often reads, messy handwriting usually does not. Because the original image is kept behind the text, an unreadable annotation is still visible on the slide even when it did not make it into the text — which is the main reason the backdrop is on by default.

Does it keep the original layout and colours?

No, and deliberately. The output is clean, editable slides with a standard title-and-body structure, not a pixel reconstruction. If you need the deck to look exactly like the image, our image-to-pptx tool preserves the picture as-is.

What about tables and charts in the image?

Text inside a chart or table is usually read as lines of text rather than rebuilt as a real table or chart object. The faded original behind the slide is what keeps the visual intact so you can rebuild the chart yourself if you need it live.

Which languages does the OCR handle?

It reads Latin and Arabic scripts among others, and the rebuilt slides keep the language of the source. Arabic text is placed with right-to-left paragraph direction so it is immediately editable rather than needing a separate fix.

How many images can I do at once?

Up to 30 per run, 20MB each and 60MB in total. They are processed in upload order, so a photographed deck comes out in the sequence you shot it.
